Keeping vanity at bay

-         Food handlers should be a minimalist when it comes to makeup. Natural beauty is the best accessory. Wearing excessive makeup, perfume and jewelry is not allowed. 

In a kitchen, the environment is very warm thus  there are chances that the make-up pigments might go into the food through perspiration. There is also a possibility that the jewelry might be loose and contaminate the food. The jewelry poses as choking hazard too.
